A Welcome from the Co-Principals

‘We place Students at the heart of everything we do’

Welcome to St. Joseph’s Catholic College. We are a popular College with a proud Catholic Heritage and exceptional staff that provide our students with a high standard of education in an inclusive environment. We are very proud of our students, and we value and celebrate their diverse range of backgrounds and beliefs, and all that this brings to our community.

Everything we do at St. Joseph’s is underpinned by our core values of respect, inclusivity, equality, nurturing, growth, and accountability. We feel that encouraging students to adopt these values will help them to grow into reflective young adults who will make a positive contribution in the world. Read more...

GCSE Results 2020/2021

Today's GCSE results are a real credit to our students and I am delighted that they have been so successful - the overall progress made by St Joseph’s students is really impressive. We all know the circumstances that students have been working in over the past eighteen months have been unique, so these excellent results not only reflect their hard work, but also their determination to overcome challenging circumstances. Please do not make the mistake of thinking that this year’s students somehow had it easy because the formal GCSE exams were cancelled – far from it, they were tested repeatedly for weeks in all their subjects – it certainly didn’t feel ‘easy’ to them at the time!

The results include many outstanding individual success stories, not only of students achieving the highest possible grades, but also of students who achieved more than they thought possible at all levels – their success is a testament to the support of their families and the dedicated and professional support of all the staff who have worked with them in their time at St. Joseph’s. We are proud of each and every one of them, and we wish them all the best for the next stage of their education.
