Choosing their options is an exciting time for students, but it can feel a little overwhelming too, so it's important for them to have access to as much information as possible, and have the opportunity to ask questions, before selecting their subjects.
Our students will all receive a booklet that provides written information about each option and how they can make their selections online. Additionally students and parents/carers are invited to attend one of three presentations taking place at the College on the evening of Tuesday 14th January. Spaces do need to be booked in advance and only one parent or carer will be able to attend with each student. We also ask that no other family members attend to prevent overcrowding. The sessions available are as follows and you can book through Eventbright.
Session 1: Presentation in Hall at 5:00 pm, time to visit subject stands 5:15 – 5:45 pm
Session 2: Presentation in Hall at 5:40pm, time to visit subject stands 5:55 – 6:25pm
Session 3: Presentation in Hall 6:20 pm, time to visit subject stands 6:35 – 7:05 pm
Please be assured that if you cannot attend any of the sessions next Tuesday, your child will still have all the information and support they need to make their choices, and their tutor and subject teachers will help with any questions they have. You will have the opportunity to speak to your child’s teachers at their parents’ evening, but if you have questions or concerns at any stage of the process then please contact us via your child’s form tutor or Academic Head of Year.
