A Welcome from the Co-Principals

‘We place Students at the heart of everything we do’

Welcome to St. Joseph’s Catholic College. We are a popular College with a proud Catholic Heritage and exceptional staff that provide our students with a high standard of education in an inclusive environment. We are very proud of our students, and we value and celebrate their diverse range of backgrounds and beliefs, and all that this brings to our community.

Everything we do at St. Joseph’s is underpinned by our core values of respect, inclusivity, equality, nurturing, growth, and accountability. We feel that encouraging students to adopt these values will help them to grow into reflective young adults who will make a positive contribution in the world.

We believe in academic excellence, and consistently work to ensure that students at all levels achieve their full potential. We also understand that our students are individuals, we follow a personal development curriculum and offer excellent pastoral care so students feel well supported and safe at school.

In addition to core subjects, we understand the importance of providing opportunities for our students to expand their education and create lasting memories. Therefore we offer a range of extracurricular activities where students can learn new skills, such as leadership, or simply broaden their knowledge of core subjects; such as Science and Languages. Our modern building features impressive facilities which allows us to run these activities, as well as a rich and varied curriculum.

Alongside our fantastic body of staff, we will always strive to ensure our students leave us with the education and experiences to thrive academically, and empower them to enrich their own lives, and the lives of those around them.
