Controlled Assessment, Coursework and Revision

For many GCSE courses part of the assessment criteria is a piece of coursework or a controlled assessment.

Controlled assessments are like exams in that they must be carried out in controlled conditions, cannot be completed at home and have a limited time to be completed. Students are prepared for these in class.
Coursework is work that can be done at home, will have a deadline but students can spend as much time as they wish completing it.  Students will complete coursework both in lessons and at home.

Revision Sessions for 2017 will begin after Christmas. Details closer to the time.
